flip flotsam剧情介绍

Flip-Flotsam is a Kenyan short made. It follows the working life of the flip-flop from production in a Mombasa factory to disposal and eventual rebirth as childrens toys. Tens of thousands end up in the sea before landing on Kiwaiyu islands beaches on the Lamu archipelago. Here the local women carve and assemble them into childrens toys and mobiles. This is a meandering, cheery film celebrating the resourcefulness and creativity of Kenyas beachcombing islanders.
